Time to Step Outside Our “Comfort Zone”

September 28, 2007

“The Muslim is a stranger amongst the non-Muslims.  The mumin (believer) is a stranger amongst the Muslims.  The mohsin (one always in worship, successful one) is a stranger amongst the mumineen.”
    -Ibn al-Qayim

Isn’t it time to jump outside our ‘comfort zone’ and step up the plate?  It’s Ramadan and we need to be good examples of who we are.  We need to practice what we preach.

May Allah (SWT) allow us to benefit others and benefit from others.  Ameen.

yes, it is the time… and yes we need to practice what we preach… we also need to write our own history, and erase all the falsehood.

if ramadhan can not change a person than nothing can…
