There is a book called ‘Book of The End – Great Trials and Tribulations’ by Al-Hafiz Ibn Katheer Dimashqi and Translated by Faisal Shafiq. In this book everything that is to happen in this world before our resurrection is mentioned which was foretold by the Messenger of Allaah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. The hadeeth mentioned above by ‘coolguymuslim’ along with other similar ones with more information and different wording has been compiled by Abu Daawood, Ibn Maajah, An-Nasaaee, Imam Ahmed & At-Tirmidhee – these compilers all related the same hadeeth through different chains, and about one of those chains, At-Tirmidhee said ‘Hasan Saheeh’ which conclusively means it is authentic. The book is excellent to expand your knowledge Insha’Allaah.

ive heard two stories now . . this hadith says dajjal is alive on a island and i read somewhere else that dajjal will be born is jerusalem, and said something about his mother and father . . whats going on ?
